Alsip, Ill., June 29, 2009 – Earthmate expanded its product offering with a line of covered CFLs designed to combine the energy savings of compact fluorescent lamps with the attractive look and feel of an incandescent. 

The 14-watt A19 household bulb goes anywhere a standard A19 bulb goes.  The 14-watt Globe is perfect for bathrooms, vanities, and other decorative fixtures in the home.  The 15-watt R30 and 23-watt R40 Reflector bulbs replace incandescent reflector bulbs in recessed cans and down lighting applications.  The 23-watt PAR38 Floodlight can be used outdoors in weather-protected fixtures.

All of the new Earthmate covered CFLs are Energy Star qualified and provide up to 80% energy savings in a wide range of applications.  These energy savings help lower utility bills and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.  In addition to their familiar shapes, all Earthmate covered CFLs have a 2700K warm white color temperature that provides the same warm lighting as incandescent lamps.  Replace inefficient incandescent lamps while maintaining the same attractive look with Earthmate covered CFLs.
